Bitmap Creative Labs provides a comfortable, creative, and co-operative space for you to get your work done, and a professional place for members to meet with their clients and co-workers.

We’re more than just another workspace; our members are actively encouraged to work together on projects that are typically too large for the small start-ups who subscribe to the co-operative/coworking ethos. By working together with like-minded individuals whose skillsets compliment each other, Bitmap sets out to foster an environment of respectful collaboration over unnecessary competition.

Hours of Operation:
10am-6pm Monday to Friday
Extended & weekend hours available by advance arrangement
Leaseholders receive 24/7 secure access

We are continually upgrading our facilities to meet our member’s needs.

LOCATION & NEIGHBORHOOD

Bitmap’s facilities are located in a thriving, lively area of Brooklyn, NY. The area features great local restaurants, cafes, shopping and nightlife. Easy access to public transportation - only two short blocks from the L train, Graham Ave. station - allows easy travel through the Williamsburg area and into lower Manhattan.

We’re currently pursuing relationships with other local business to offer discounts to Bitmap members.  If you are a local business owner or are interested in helping us get in touch with any, please let us know.

STAFF

Bitmap was founded by Nick Robalik, Principal/CCO at HERO, a New York creative agency, with the goal of providing high-quality facilities to freelancers and small businesses, operating under the belief that all creative professionals should have access to the same level of resources available at larger firms. Nick has created award-winning creative and branding work for The Coca-Cola Company, Mars, Inc. (M&M’s & Dove Chocolate), AudiUSA, State Farm, Elizabeth Arden and many others. While he still occasionally dips his toe in at the big-box agencies, he likes working with the people here at Bitmap more.

Nick brought on Aaron Ray-Crichton, Principal of ARC Systems, who specializes in building technology solutions for small and medium-sized digital content creation and manufacturing businesses, to work with on building the technology infrastructure of the Bitmap space. Aaron’s clients include Illy Cafe, Fresh Paint, PsyOp, Cause & Effect, Edit Beach and many more.  Aaron’s home was featured in the Cisco Digital Cribs series. He’s our in-house tech expert, and he keeps the technology infrastructure, printers & interwebs running in our space.
